Mary Hattman
Mary Hattman’s broad, muscular lines like to flirt with the edge of the canvas, then double back on themselves to form Kafka-esque highways and dance steps for the insane. The lines are usually black, the background usually white, but the wiggle is never the same. Works are equally likely to be spacious or dense, playful or solemn. This is the Artist’s first solo exhibition at the Gallery.
