This painting is one in a series of tiny telescopic paintings Blumberg been working on about characters she calls Bee Keepers. Bee Keepers are the keepers of dreams. They tend to hives full of dreams. They live in a world we can only visit in our dreams. This particular portrait depicts Bee Keepers invited as guests to a dream dinner. The scene is set in paper collage which resembles the pressed leather of an old book. It comes with a prepared wooden frame and is ready to hang.
